Yes. In the student area you only pay the difference between plans.
Your access ends 24 months after your purchase date (36 on Precisão). You can buy a plan again at the price shown at that time. An upgrade doesn't extend your access: if you upgrade to Precisão, the 36 months count from the date you bought your first plan, not the upgrade date.
